Miradas sobre la partería tradicional mexicana: el documental interactivo como metodología interdisciplinaria para la documentación y transmisión de saberes.

This article describes the methodological path we followed to build the web documentary: Interactive Map of Traditional Mexican Midwifery. It is an introspective insight that reveals the research, production and divulgation process of the documentary and at the same time, it exposes the results that the visual ethnography yielded. The web documentary arises from a qualitative study that was carried out in the states of Oaxaca, Campeche, Veracruz, Hidalgo, Chiapas and the State of Mexico during 2018 and 2019. In a context where traditional midwifery is being eradicated, we reflect on the use of audiovisual formats and interactive media as tools to strengthen the processes of research, representation and transmission of oral knowledge inside communities and out of them.
