Representaciones visuales y activismo en un contexto de violencia política en Chiapas.

This paper examines visual representations created by four tseltal families displaced from their community in Banavil, Tenejapa (Chiapas, Mexico) since 2011. Specifically, it focuses on a fabric mural and a digital illustration, both produced in collaboration with human rights activists within a context of political violence and deterritorialization. Based on testimonies collected during fieldwork in San Cristóbal de Las Casas between 2015 and 2020, this study analyzes the uses and meanings of these images, exploring how they contribute to processes of agency, resistance, and the formation of solidarity networks.
