Personal file photography as a tactical tool.
Based on Michel De Certeau's ideas on tactics and strategy (2000), this text analyzes the tension that exists between the mediation of the subject's position and entities that dictate what should be visible. An analysis is carried out that shows power relations and how they influence personal archive photography, highlighting actions that demonstrate the idea of tactics in contexts where certain types of results are expected in the photographic act. Critical analysis of everyday phenomena, such as photographs of couples or self-portraits, shows the development of the interplay between tactics and strategy in the social context.
