Herrerías, ruedas y rotaciones: Indagaciones sobre herrerías y herreros en la cuenca del Llanquihue a través de cinco fotografías del Museo Colonial Alemán de Frutillar.

In the following writing I will take five photographs belonging to the German Colonial Museum of Frutillar as route signs to delve into the trade of blacksmithing in the Llanquihue Basin, using methods of visual anthropology and historical ethnography. In this way, we will work on the origin and future of this trade, its relationship with land transport and the social dynamics in the workshop. In a last section through the life story of Francisco Dann, MCAF blacksmith, we will reflect on his relationship with the trade, as well as the role played in the museum as a worker and part of a museological proposal.
